In field conditions in a Red Ferrallitic soil was studied the response of covered dark tobacco Corojo variety to different irrigation regimes and techniques for perforated pipes and hoses. It was found that variants of cheaper irrigation regime are two: one whose reduce irrigation water requirement by 50% at the end of the second period and during the third vegetation period and treatment that suspends one irrigation at the end of the second vegetation period and the first irrigation at the beginning of the third period.
It reached yields averages and values for a kilogram of tobacco at 1877kg/ha-2.23 $ / kg for perspective variants and 1375 kg/ha-2.12 $/ kg for the variant no irrigated, taken as a witness. No significant differences were found in the value of total production and groups of categories of tobacco to compare irrigation pipes perforated-3706 $ / ha, with the traditional irrigation hose-3893 $ / ha.
