To calculate the project’s irrigation regime of maize, planted in three seasons, was used the year of 25% probability of the total water requirements, calculated from decennial historical rainfall and evaporation not less than 20 years. In carrying out the work using information on precipitation and evaporation, hydro physical properties of soils, bioclimatic coefficient “K”, technical specifications of cultivation and a computer program to calculate the various elements of the irrigation regime.
The balance of the information held for the life cycle of the crop. The total water requirement of maize devoted to the dry corn production has a national average 2737 m3/ha. In planting of winter, spring and summer the total water total requirement have an average 3252 – 2574 – 2385 m3/ha respectively The average number of irrigations is 1 2-9-9 for sowing corn in winter, spring and summer respectively.
