The irrigation regime regionalization for the principal tobacco zones in Cuba was conduced. The basic information about: soil, precipitations, evaporation and bioclimatic evapotranspiration coefficients K and a computation program elaborated in basic language was used for the determination of the different irrigation regime elements. The climatic data was analyzed decennial, using a period of 18 to 20 years.

The balances were determinate in the month from November to march, for the transplanting season of November, December and January. The irrigation water requirements were calculate on the year of 25 % irrigation water requirement probability, with national average value of 1450, 1606 and 1681 m3/ha respectively. The irrigation varies of 5 to 7, with national average of 5.5; 6.7 and 6.9 for the studied transplanting season.
