The altered irrigation regime in beans planted in a Dark with carbonate soil, located at the province of Holguin was studied. Three varieties were used: Velasco Large, Ica Pijao, and Cueto 25-9. It was found that the average evapotranspiration per phase of the crop is as follows: Establishment: 1.44-2.20-2.83 mm / day; Vegetative period: 2.42-2.70-4.17 mm / day; Bloom: 2.43-3.20-4.30 mm / day; Formation of harvest: 2.42-2.40-2.33 mm / day; Maturation: 1.68-1.43-1.67 mm / day for varieties Velasco Large, Ica Pijao, Cueto 25-9 respectively. In the Dark carbonate soil is recommended to maintain the level of soil moisture at 85% of field capacity.
