For the calculation of the project irrigation regime of the principal economic crops, we used the year of the 25% probability of the total water requirement, calculated on the basis of historical rainfall and evaporation of not less than 20 years. In the long cycle crops total net water requirement range from 4238 m3/ha for the Bermuda Cross until 7248 m3/ha for Banana Viand Clone CEMSA, with a national average of 5490 m3/ha for Citrus.

In the short-cycle crops, the total water requirement range from 1095 m3/ha for spring batata until 4704 m3/ha for Pepper California in direct seeding, with a national average of 1590 m3 / ha, in the tobacco. In rice, the total irrigation net water requirement range from 8794 m3/ha for spring sowing to 11364 m3/ha for cold sowing.
