. We are still in the summer season in Spain, but autumn has advanced, which has led to consequences that create favorable climatic conditions for the development of the cold drop and its effects. Climate change is a reality, this year we had a very hot period and an advance of the autumn period, as well as many forest fires in different regions of the country, more and more global warming becomes more active causing more destructive and dangerous climatic events , bringing death and destruction. It is necessary that measures be taken to combat the effects of cold drop and climate change, we must review the urban and rural drainage works that we have in areas susceptible to cold drop and make new projections of rural and urban drainage works according to climate change, so that the time of urban and rural floods can be reduced and the economic and human losses caused by these phenomena can be reduced.
