Influence of the sprinkler Irrigation of long reach and different nozzle on CEMSA ¾ banana yield in extra dense plantation system

The work was carried out in the Unit of Development Technical Scientist of the Agricultural Engineering Research Institute in Pulido, Alquízar, Artemisa province, on a Rhodic Ferrasol soil. It were carried out evaluations field conditions with the nozzle of 18 and 22 mm, with the purpose of knowing the influence of the sprinkler irrigation the long reach, model’s AA70 TG 280 on the yield of the banana, with the extra dense plantation system. The volumes of water in the soil, didn’t cause significant difference on the yield of the variety CEMSA ¾, for what anyone of the studied nozzle can be used, with the applied irrigation dose. With relationship to the yield expressed in mass of bunch./plant were obtained values of 10,50 Kg. with the nozzle of 18 mm and 10,71 Kg. with the nozzle of 22 mm that represent a yield of 36,70 t/ha and 37,48 t/∙ha respectively, with a yield average of 37,10 t/∙ha, with total water requirements of 9 750 m3/ha.
