The objective of the present paper was determining the crop evapotranspiration (ETc) and crop coefficients (Kc) for development phases of the coffee (Coffea arabica, L) variety Red Caturra of 12 years old, irrigated with surface drip irrigation system. The experiment was carried out in San Andres region, Pinar del Río province, during four years on a Yellow Alític soil of typical high loamy activity. The ETc was determined starting from soil water balance until 60 cm depth and the Kc divided into ETc of the irrigated plants all the year when the humidity descended until 85% of the soil field Capacity and the Reference Evapotranspiration (Eto) of the area.
As a result, it was obtained that the highest water demand 4.44 mm/ day is produced in the flowering-fructification phase; the annual daily evapotranspiration average was 3.24 mm/day, with an annual evapotranspiration from 1112 to 1197 mm and a global crop coefficient of 0.86.
