It is present the results of the application of bioclimatic method to determine the irrigation moment, put into effect in Ceiba, Victoria de Giron and Ceballos Citrus Enterprise.
The irrigations were performed between 8 and 15 in the period under review, the total water irrigation requirements oscillate from 3300 to 5400 m3/hectare in the dry time.The statistical analysis shows a significant correlation for the reserves of soil moisture obtained by the bioclimatic and gravimetric methods with a coefficient of 0.80.

The results of a saving 261 hours of pumping for irrigation during the irrigation campaign in the Victoria de Giron Citrus Enterprise show the quality of bioclimatic method for predicting the irrigation moment and recommended its extension to other citrus enterprise in the country, for its easy implementation and low cost.
